About Me

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know a little about me. 
I am a stay-at-home mom of a little girl, step-mom of 4 other girls. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 7 years. While I am a mom and a wife, I am also a student currently working on my Associates in Healthcare.
Now, with that little introduction of myself, let's get down to meaning of my blog. I have always been of horror books, starting with R.L. Stines Goosebumps when I was in 4th grade, moving up to the High School murders when I hit 6th. Starting in high school, I started reading Stephen King while my mom was slowly introducing me to the romance novels. After high school, along with being in and out of relationships, I grew out of reading. In 2008, a good friend of mine whom I've know for many years, turned me to Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series, starting with "Guilty Pleasures". That is when my collection really started to blossom. 4 years later, my love of the paranormal has widened between vampires and werewolves to fairies and witches. I have collected the Anita Blake series as well as her Merry Gentry series. Going on to Michele Bardsley and MaryJanice Davidson, Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong, along with a few others that are including zombies, ghosts, demons, etc. 
I have also have a love for the dark classic novels such as "Picture of Dorian Grey" and "Wuthering Heights" not to mention "Frankenstein" and "Dracula".
I created this blog to go deeper into the paranormal, and with this I have kept in touch with wonderful indie authors whom I have done reviews for and they have guest blogged. My Book Blog is my baby, and I am using it to spread my love of the paranormal to the public.
