Mary Shelley

Ok, so here is another brilliant author, Mary Shelley (1797-1851). Yes, as in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (published in 1818).
Another tragic love story, with some horror in it.
Why do I think it's a love story? Hhh
hmmmm, not cuz it's romantic, cuz it definitely was not lol. I think the reason why I call it a love story is that "the monster" actually had a heart. He hated the fact that people ran away from him because of the way he looked. And all he wanted was to fit in.
And what's a love story without any drama? lol
It got to the point that "the monster" was so angry at his creator, that he actually caused a lot of damage everywhere he went. He killed his creator's little brother, and really got back at him when he killed his creator's new bride on their wedding night. In exchange for his life, he agreed to the monster that he will take his late wife and bring her back so the monster will have someone to love (hence, frankenstein's bride)

If you don't want to read the book, I totally recommend the
movie with Robert Deniro (1994). But beware, it is a very long movie lol.
I actually cried watching the movie cuz I felt bad for the monster and then when the wife comes back as another monster, she was so angry at him, and I felt so bad for the both of them, cuz now the poor things won't be able to fit into the society of stuck up snobby people just because of the way they look.

I hope everyone enjoys this book, it's definitely worth the read. Or the few hours watching the movie, but just make sure you have a blanket with you to pull over your eyes and a box of tissues next to you to catch the tears, and of a course a box of chocolates to make you feel better lol
