Ok, so as I said in my previous posting, a good friend of mine turned me onto the Laurell K Hamilton books. First it was Anita Blake, the necromancer/vampire hunter/zombie raiser and she has 2 lovers Jean-Claude owner of Guilty Pleasures (strip club) and Master Vampire of the city, and Richard a science teacher/alpha wolf. They create this triumvirate to make all 3 of the stronger. Which literally makes them all kick ass.
And then there is the Merry Gentry series. Merry is half human half fairy. Her aunt is the Queen, and in order to get the throne is to get pregnant before her cousin. So she has like 6 lovers/bodyguards who all have different powers. And what is so awesome is that all the fairies "colors" are to their power. For instance, Frost. He is a warrior, and he controls water, ice, you name it and he is all blue and white and silver. MMMMM
I'm still in the process of reading both series, but it's hard when I am currently attracted to another series, which I'm almost done. lol. I will talk about that one later hahaha.
